01 | Novavii | Thesis
Client: Novavii, Chennai, India
Location: Domus Academy, Milan, Regents University (Remote)
Concept:
The website design for Novavii embodies the brand’s ethos of inclusivity
and self-expression, creating a seamless and immersive digital experience.
The UI/UX approach ensures accessibility and engagement while reflecting
the brand’s cultural narrative through visual storytelling, intuitive navigation,
and interactive elements.
My role:
I led the visual and UX design for Novavii’s website, crafting a user experience
that aligns with the brand’s inclusive and modern aesthetic. The design emphasizes clarity, personalization, and visual harmony, ensuring an intuitive journey for users exploring skin tones, products, and brand stories.
Process:
The Blooming Aura navigation system was designed as a key interactive feature, allowing users to explore personalized skin tone matches and curated product recommendations. A personalized shade-matching system integrates Novavii’s signature skin-tone symbols, allowing users to identify their unique tones and explore customized product recommendations.
The design incorporates individualized visual elements, such as floral patterns
and motif variations, dynamically adjusting based on the user’s selected profile.
The website also enables users to save their personalized Blooming Aura profile, creating a tailored shopping experience for future visits.
AI-driven product suggestions refine recommendations based on previous interactions, ensuring relevance and consistency in the user journey.

02 | PLUS
Client: PLUS furniture company, Japan
Location: Triumph Design resources, Milan
Brief:
PLUS is a Japanese furniture design company specializing in office furniture
and space design. The aim was to re-design the Plus Furniture Company website
to match their new branding guideline and to enhance user experience, showcase their fully developed expertise, while maintaining the legacy of the brand.
Challenge and Solution:
To reposition their website as a showcase of wholistic approach to their design services than merely furniture design and manufacturing expertise, while matching
UI elements to their parent company website. We created the UI experience
as a visual system for the most important flows, elements and groups of information for the brand, which can then be replicated across different pages of the website.
My role:
For the PLUS website redesign, my process began with a thorough analysis
of the existing platform, identifying key areas for improvement in usability and visual coherence. I conducted user research to understand audience needs and behaviors, gathering insights that informed the design direction. This was followed by UI kit development, ensuring consistency in typography, color schemes, and interactive elements. I then created wireframes, mapping out the structure for both desktop
and mobile versions, leading to a refined UI design that balanced aesthetics with functionality. After developing an interactive prototype for testing, I established usage guidelines for design scalability and collaborated with developers for a smooth handoff and implementation.
